I have been photographing events and people in the Whangārei community for 10 years. Starting out my career by taking photos of live shows at local theatres and local bars! Having covered live music, theatre, circus, dance, and burlesque – it’s been a colourful array of local creative talent that I have been delighted to see and capture.
Professional photography of the arts and local events can help promote shows in the future and entice more audience bookings and participation. I also believe in artists having a record of their work in their portfolio.
Images are used online and in print media to promote or celebrate your event.
CorporateEvents & Functions
Corporate/Business Event Photography services are for companies who are holding an event or awards ceremony that need a range of images for in-house use as well as printed and press media documents and marketing.
Sarah Marshall Photography can offer “roaming” photography to capture speakers, guests, candid moments, set up, decorations, and food as well as a mobile studio set up for posed portraits. For this, you may choose to provide a backdrop with your sponsor’s logos on it or hire a backdrop that suits your event theme.
Whatever the event is, myself and my associate photographers can cover it and provide images with a fast turnaround if needed. I also offer an online gallery service for events such as fashion shows where participants may wish to purchase digital copies of images. Please get in touch for options and a quote.

Your event images are culled back to the best of the best and provided via digital download for print and web use.

In same cases it is a 50% retainer to book and the remainder due on your photoshoot date. For some businesses it’s easiest to pay one invoice in full so the same date of the photoshoot is fine. Payment in full is due before preview gallery and final images are delivered. Payments are accepted via bank transfer or Stripe/Credit Card. This option is via my online invoice system.
Yes, I can travel within Northland for commercial photography and events. We can discuss travel fees and availability.
If it is an outdoor weather dependant job it would be ideal for you to find a photographer in your area.
You will receive your edited images within 7-14 business days, depending on how big the job or event is.
For events that require a press article and fast turnaround, you will receive some of the photos for this within 24-48 hours and the rest of the gallery within 7-14 days.
